David Jason ("D.J.") Boji has been spinning since 1999. He realized his passion for music during his teenage years when he first heard the sound of a "Dumbek" drum. His innate appreciation for drums and beats fortified his fascination with this instrument. Local DJ's began producing live mix shows on Detroit radio stations. These mix shows inspired D.J. to purchase his own equipment and make these tools his "instrument," allowing him to artistically express his passion for music.
After months of practice, he started spinning at mobile gigs and rocking all of the local high school dances for all of his friends and peers. Breaking into the Nightclub scene, D.J. released his first Mix Tape, "DJ David B: In the Mix, Vol. 1." The CD combined the latest Hip Hop and House tracks seamlessly mixed with many Old-School classics from his childhood.
DJ David B has since released several mix tapes, including fan favorites like the Hip Hop classic, "Eternity," and his Spring Break-inspired "Acapulco Anthems." He stays true to his Detroit roots, consistently including local artists and performers in his live sets and Mix Tapes. David B has not forgotten his Middle Eastern descent or his passion for the Dumbek sound, keeping the culture alive by incorporating sounds with Middle Eastern influence and heavy percussions into his mix.
DJ David B has played in every major Night Club/Lounge in Metro-Detroit. StudentCity.com booked him to spin in Acapulco, Mexico, for four weeks in March of 2008 during the nation's hottest season for College Spring Break. The highlight of this event was when David B opened up for rap star Flo Rida at Acapulco's El Alebrije in front of over 4,000 screaming spring breakers.
In October of 2008, David B had the opportunity to DJ at The Palace of Auburn Hills for the New Kids on the Block Sold out Reunion Tour. David B was Tami Chynn’s DJ whose hit single “frozen” featuring Akon has been blowing up across the globe. Spinning in a stadium with over 20,000 people in it was one of David B’s most memorable moments out of his career. DJ David B is currently a member of Channel 95.5's Bomb Squad. You can catch him live on the air on Saturday nights weekly from 3:00 – 4:00 a.m.
David B is now recognized as one of Metro-Detroit's hottest promoters and DJ's through his continued success in giving his city the ultimate experience at all of his sophisticated and swanky events. His innovative style and creative ideas produce enough surprises to keep anyone coming back for more. Whether mixing House, Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, Dancehall, Freestyle, or 80's records, DJ David B's eclectic style and taste keeps his dance floor throbbing for more all night long. |

DJ Jenna Brown is no new comer to the Electronic Music scene and has been paying close attention and evolving with it since the mid 90's. In 1994, the Central Michigan University Broadcasting major secured her first DJ residency at a popular dance bar. Her personal style took shape exploring Euro-Trance and Breaks during gigs in Orlando in 1996. Back in Michigan, this self-taught DJ originated a weekly electronic music club night in 1997, the first such theme night to hit Mt. Pleasant's bar scene.
Jenna's quest to seek out and introduce the hottest tracks has always been one of the attributes which sets her apart from other DJ's.
Funky, Dirty, Techy, Electro, Progressive House is Jenna's mantra on the decks and this mantra is shared by the floor as she strives to keep the dancer in mind with the tracks she selects to mix. Jenna is a treat to watch while on stage and gets into the music just as much as the clubbers on the dance floor do. Also known as "JB", she has played in several mid-west states and has also crossed the border into Canada numerous times, playing at The Boom Boom Room in Windsor. JB also played with other Detroit DJ's at the 2003 Winter Music Conference in Miami. Jenna Brown is a staple in the scene and for the last 6 years has been playing in nearly every major club in Detroit. Like all successful DJs who can lay one track, listen to another, read a crowd, and prepare a subsequent mix virtually at once, Jenny LaFemme is a natural multi-tasker. Her unique brand of soulful house, old-school, international pop and club (sometimes all in one set) and the international crowds she attracts have turned her into uniquely individual brand, producing, promoting and, most importantly, playing from Detroit to Miami to Moscow -- at least once recently in a single week!
When Jenny moved to America, she could go out and hear live sets by ‘old-schoolers’ like Ralphi Rosario, Terri Bristol, Derrick Carter, DJ Sneak and Detroit’s Big 3, Kevin Saunderson, Derick May and Carl Craig. LaFemme remembers "falling in love with house music almost instantly.” She kept the love alive with late nights at Detroit’s legendary Heaven, where the late Ken Collier famously played live sets all night for locals and music lovers from all over the world, and thinking nothing of a four hour drive to Chicago to hear a live Lego set at Red Dog.
While fully engrossed in the mainstream house and electronica scene, Jenny’s Russian-American peers don’t let her forget where she comes from and what has brought her so far. LaFemme plays in Russia about twice a year. In addition, she still throws regular parties for Detroit, Chicago and New York's young, chic Russian community. Here LaFemme mixes international house with Russian radio hits. She continues to promote and sponsor the hottest new Russian acts here in America, many boasting sold-out venues in New York, Detroit, Chicago and Miami.
Today LaFemme has established herself as a real player in some of the most formidable and competitive electronic music scenes in the country -- and in the world. Her fans and friends, new and old, look forward to an even bigger year for this emerging superstar.

Throughout his life, Omar Binno has faced and overcome many obstacles and personal adversities, which have molded him into the person he is today. Born blind, Omar is a multi-talented poet, musician, song composer, producer, writer, and a deeply spiritual person whose faith shapes his works as well as his character.
He began playing the piano at age 9, and since then, music has remained his deepest passion. His style of music was inspired by artists like Elton John, Phil Collins, Chicago, and Journey. His love of music and writing has pervaded his life’s works. Omar feels that art is the most profound communicator; whether it is through music, stories, poetry, paintings, or acting, art is the avenue for artists to express their deepest experiences, beliefs, and views in ways that touch people eternally.
In December 1995, while attending the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM,) Omar’s poem “An Eternal Farewell” was published in UDM’s magazine “Mcnichols Road.” In 1997, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English writing and literature, and Communications. In 1999, he completed his Masters Degree in Public Relations and Marketing.
He currently composes his own music in genres ranging from Hip Hop and dance/techno, to pop and alternative. When asked who his role models are, Omar said that Christ is, of course, the greatest role model. However, he feels that God has also blessed him with a close-knit family, and friends whose support is priceless.
Two other people who have profoundly influenced Omar’s writings, as well as his spiritual beliefs, are the late renowned Christian writers: J. R. R. Tolkien; author of The twentieth century’s best-selling literary trilogy “The Lord Of The Rings," and C. S. Lewis; author of "The Chronicles Of Narnia." Omar asserts that, although Tolkien and Lewis's works are fictional, they subtly retell the themes of selfless love and perseverance, which are the central teachings of Christianity. |
